My "To Do" list is growing at a rapid pace, and with a mere 5 months to go, I suppose I need to get my (hopefully shrinking with all of the hours I log on the treadmill) butt in gear and figure out what can be done when. Right now I'm looking at the following projects:
1. Wedding Invitations
2. Rehearsal Dinner Invitations
3. Ceremony Programs
4. Tissue Packets (for the ceremoney programs)
5. Bridesmaids' Gift Bags
6. Groomsmens' Gifts (while not entirely a DIY project, there are numerous steps involved and it can't just be purchased somewhere [as that would be entirely too simple for my taste])
7. Reception Table Centerpieces
8. Guestbook
9. Accomodations/Directions insert for the invitations
10. Bouquet charms for the BM bouquets
Wow, and that was just off the top of my head. Luckily, I'm taking off a week later this month and heading up to NJ where I've conned a bridesmaid/my best friend into helping me Gocco the heck out of some cardstock and turn $100 worth of beautiful white linen cards into some very fancy wedding invitations.
Also on the "To Do" front? Secure a rehearsal dinner location, confirm the ceremony start time, check in with the rental guys to see about moving some stuff around, and try (again) to do the tuxedo rentals.
I don't think the magnitude of my To Do List has actually hit me yet... then again, for someone who stresses out quite easily, I don't think I've been too uptight about anything so far. (Gosh, I'm really hoping to not eat those words any time soon.)
